Accomplishing mission driven work requires people performing at their best.

This takes more than skill building and professional development: It requires supporting mental health, wellbeing, and happiness.

For 20 years, I built my career in the social sector, working my way up to executive leadership in multiple organizations. My passion was the mission of the organizations I was working with. It was an honor to do this work, but it was also difficult in a way that was different from other kinds of careers. It was work that always required me to do more with less. To best serve our constituents, I often pushed past my own limits. The work sometimes brought me into direct contact with people who were truly suffering, and I felt this acutely.

I know from experience that people who do mission driven work need support tailored specifically to their needs. They need to be developed as professionals to achieve their greatest impact and potential, but as part of a uniquely demanding sector they require specialized support to ensure their wellbeing and to minimize burnout.

I work with professionals in the not for profit sector, education, b corps, social justice space, healthcare and anywhere the job is to serve others, from entry level to executive. I also work with professionals who may not work in these fields, but are balancing service and caregiving at home, whether as parents (including parents of children with disabilities) or caregivers to other family members.

Clients have come to me to work through organizational and career changes, burnout, secondary trauma and other challenges. They’ve come away from coaching with renewed clarity, goals, confidence, purpose and fulfillment, ready to face challenges that previously felt impossible with a renewed focus and strategy.

Beth is always able to put things into perspective for me and help me to think about situations in a different way. I can’t say enough amazing things about Beth, and I would absolutely recommend hiring a coach, not just to someone going through career changes but to anyone who wants to feel more confident in their career.
